Volbeat
Volbeat is a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001 by singer and guitarist Michael Poulsen. The band blends hard rock, heavy metal, and rockabilly influences into a distinctive sound often described as “Elvis metal.” Their breakthrough came with the 2007 album Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil and was followed by international success with albums like Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies (2013). Known for powerful live performances and Poulsen’s unmistakable vocals, Volbeat has become one of Denmark’s most successful musical exports, headlining major festivals and achieving chart success across Europe and North America.
